This is one very nice set, i must say. Mine was ordered via taobao, I paid including shipping to Malaysia for about RMB450 (USD66/ RM285). Overall built impressive, though it is pretty slow. I have made a few mods, reversing the gears for higher speed ratios and also used 2 battery packs for more power. Simple gear change instructions and video at link http://atomcurve.com/1FhB .
With the gear change however, it would be hard to overcome slopes and obstactles, but it runs faster. So for those of you who plans to crawl over obstacles the original setup would be good.

After playing with it for a while i did break the servo... sob. Anyway i've gotten replacements again from taobao via ezbuy https://ezbuy.my/product/116955041805522.html costs RM42.18 which is about 10USD. You can find Lego ones or china made ones from tabao.
hi....my crawler at original settings cant even pass the obstacle as it should be. Is it happened to all lepin crawler? i already checked the gear and diffs, there is no problem or misplaced anything
ReplyDeleteit only can pass small obstacles / slopes.. because the unit itself is already darh heavy. dual batt pack does help if you have one extra.
